Writing A Query=Fun

Is it strange that I'm having more fun writing my query letter than finishing my first draft? Ever since I found this website, I can't seem to stop writing and revising. I wonder how I can infuse this passion into my manuscript...it's a lot harder to write 300 cohesive pages than it is to write one.
