What I'm Reading Wednesday - The Moon and More, Feeling Good, The Chocolate Touch, and Junie B. Jones and some Sneaky Peeky Spying

The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen

Almost finished with this one! Honestly I'm a little worried because I'm 80% through and there's yet to be a climax. That makes me think it's going to be something really bad an unexpected. Although, is there enough time left for the main character to react to something like that? I'm not sure. However, this book has certainly been a lot different than Dessen's other books. For one thing I'm not completely in love with the love story, and neither is the main character. Hmmmm.

Feeling Good by David D. Burns, M.D.

My boyfriend recommended that I read this one, since we're both very into cognitive therapy as well as being rational and thinking about our emotions. So nerdy, I know :P. I'm not very far in yet, still in the beginning part where the book is trying to convince the reader that they need the information it contains. You know, typical self help book intro.

The Chocolate Touch by Patrick Skene Catling

My 3rd graders are getting into this one! We're reading chapter 9 tomorrow, and they're really starting to wonder how John will get rid of his chocolate touch.

Junie B. Jones and some Sneaky Peeky Spying by Barbara Park

Another book I'm reading with my 3rd graders, surprise surprise I know. Junie B. is a great series for talking about what a character thinks is happening versus what's actually happening.
